Buyers Express Strong Approval Of Mound Creek Ranch Brangus Genetics
A raw, cold, windy, rainy day greeted prospective buyers at the Mound Creek Ranch Bull Sale, March 20th, but the sale started hot and got hotter. The barn was filled with excitement and active bidding from start to finish. The 146 bulls, which were just 12 and 13-months-old, were described by several longtime prominent breeders as the best set of Brangus bulls to ever sell in the breed and the offering proved that assessment as the bulls sold for an average of $4,056. The offering was highlighted by sons of the deceased MC Jethro 00S3, along with several true AI stud prospects.
The evening before a select group of Mound Creek Ranch females were offered and buyers were impressed. They paid an average of $4,345 on the 36 head.
One-hundred and twenty registered buyers from all over the United States added Mound Creek Genetics to their herds and the next Mound Creek Genetic event, will be held at the ranch, Leona, Texas on May 15th.
