The future success of seedstock producers will hinge upon providing high levels of customer services to all friends in this business. These services must include genetic alliances and cooperative marketing efforts with other producers while offering assistance above and beyond to client bases. With those thoughts in mind five programs joined forces to form a power of one entity named the Mound Creek Genetic Partners.

With this “Power of One” concept we can more aggressively tackle the genetic needs of our bull buyers, offer better marketing services in different regions of the United States, and more effectively address the ever-changing demands of our industry.

Services, Sale Dates and Items of Interest

• “The Cowman’s Kind” Brangus Bull Sale is held annually at Mound Creek Ranch, Leona, Texas in late October. Beginning in December 2008 the second phase of “The Cowman’s Kind” Bull Sale will be held in Lake Park, Georgia.

• Mound Creek Bull Cooperator Program offers our friends in the seedstock side of this business the opportunity to have us develop and market their annual bull production. This service has been offered since 1996 with overwhelming success.

• Mound Creek and Friends Registered Brangus Female Sale is held annually the third Saturday in May. Annually the best female sale in the country and structured so the partners and cooperators have a viable place to sell registered females.

• Commercial Female Sales are offered at each Bull Sale and also Private Treaty throughout the year. We annually sell superior groups of commercial females selected from ranches that have been supporters of our bull sales.

• Commercial Heifer AI Services gives our bull buyers the opportunity to get the very best genetics in the country AI bred into the herd at a reasonable value.

• Commercial Heifer Development offers our bull buyers the options of selling heifer groups or having us raise, develop, breed, and later return to the rancher.

• Enhanced Feeder Calf Marketing for receiving, grouping, and premium pricing ranch raised feeder cattle in sizes ranging from small to large.

• Commercial Feeding Services for herd performance, value based marketing options, and carcass merit identification services.

• Complete Herd Consulting Services to include genetic evaluations, marketing options, herd management, nutritional choices, alliance opportunities.

In addition we have a number of programs across the country that are Mound Creek Cooperators as they allow us to assist in their genetic selections and the sires they use.
